Sugar Land 's environment has changed from a quiet little city to a busy nd outgoing environment. Sugar Land gets very busy during the week. People would be coming in and out of work like millions of ants running back and forth into their tunnels o get the work done. After three o' clock, people would get off of work and the rush of traffic would begin. Traffic is the water and rain the flooded the river, pushing through a narrow channel in the open body of water. Once the volume decrease, the rush ends with gentle flow of the river. As the week flows by, the city becomes calmer like the open ocean, but on the weekends the city is a jazz festival. The city would have events to get people more involved, the high schools would have their weekly football games, and people would shop at the mall. The activities going on brings the environment to live, and it also helps the city to reach out to the environment to see how the people are doing.
I liked the descriptive words about traffic and how it flows and the comparison of people to millions of ants. There are a couple grammatical errors, but besides that it's a great descriptive paragraph. On a side note I didn't know that sugar land wad the third best place to live in the US, cool!

ReplyDeleteI like the way you used the rivers and the ocean in your descriptions, its a cool way to think about traffic. The way you kept it just to water helped the paragraph flow. I've never been to sugar land but it sounds pretty busy and very eventful.
