An Underwater Adeventure

Dominant Impression: I hope to give my readers a clear vision of the atmosphere and beauty of The Aquarium. This vision will be supported with an understanding of why it is so important to me but more importantly, why The Aquarium is such a representative aspect of the entire city of Houston, Texas.

Body Paragraph: Aside from the remarkably delicious food at The Aquarium, the atmosphere is equally as impressive, if not more so. The building itself is architecturally and aesthetically pleasing to say the least. From the outside, the building is made of a light shade of stone. On the front of the building is a man-made waterfall. It is about forty feet tall and twenty-five feet wide. At night time, The Aquarium is even more beautiful. The word “Aquarium” is lit up in a light blue with what looks like waves in the bubbled letters. The building is bordered with a strip of blue lights, and each of the three levels has this strip, adding to the modernized and fun atmosphere of the restaurant. Each of the levels has inlets in which you have the option to sit outside. On the roof of these inlets is a strip of orange, visible from the outside, which accents the blue strips. The architecture of the building focuses on curvatures of walls, unique outside panels, and the balconies. This effect mimics an ocean wave, adding to the aquarium aspect of the restaurant.

  1. Thesis -

Huntsville State Park serves as a recreational area where man meets the wild and serves as an escape from the city.

As the dawn breaks, light shines glistening the park and its lake. the park is used as a recreational area in which campsites are registered for those who want to experience the nature in their own backyard. the fragrance of the multiple pine trees brings an aurora to your nostrils as you wake up. Huntsville State Park is the pride of which I have for Texas, it shows the wild side as well as the serenity all in one. Texas is truly the blossom of the US and Huntsville is truly the blossom of Texas. The nature to some is a bother, but to most including myself view it as an escape. Slower and slower our lives back in the city are becoming faster and faster; pretty soon our days feel like seconds and minutes and we see our lives flashing before our very own eyes. However, in Huntsville, that fast paced day becomes seconds of peace and tranquility that soothes the heart and embraces the mind.
